I decided to quit

Promoting a healthy lifestyle;
At University of Limpopo I did;
Educating students;
About their health life;
Challenges and how to tackle them.

I was a peer educator;
Very disciplined and dedicated;
And very professional I was;
For full four years;
Without being appreciated;
Now I have heard enough;
I decided to quit.

I worked hard;
But for the sake of students;
And for the sake of my fellow south African;
Without support and appreciation;
I continued with all my heart.

Maybe I was trapped;
Because I just made;
A very little silly mistake;
By only saying what I had to;
A mere personal comment.

Now fingers are pointing at me;
I am being called a rotten potato;
It is enough;
I can not take it any more;
I decided to quit.
