My friend president Mbeki and Mugabe on friday 10 April after having a hour long meeting in Harare. Mugabe told reporters about his friendship with Mbeki.

Taking their relationship to a upper level: This was after Mbeki was delegated by SADC to be a mediator between ZANU-PF leader and MDC leaders in Zimbabwe.
Well i still believe Mugabe will lead the country again, because he is counting votes by himself, how can you let yourself loose, while you are counting without viewers.
