Men should stop raping their own wife's.

Women all of you should be aware of this, everyone can be raped by her own husband. Many of you are keeping quite, and you have been experiencing this for a long time, it is time to stand up and raise your voices, it is time for you to be heard. Gone are days were by men were just kicking and raping their own wife's without anyone being noticed.

Men should stop this old animal’s behavior or raping their companions. Let us drop the old mentality of owning women, now in South Africa it is 50/50 women has rights just like men. Women have the rights to say no if she is not ready, why do we have to force ourselves on them?

“Estimates range from 960,000 incidents of violence against a current or former spouse, boyfriend, or girlfriend per year to three million women who are physically abused by their husband or boyfriend per year.” This testifies that most of people who are abused 75% of them where abused by the intimate partner a husband or boyfriend. Nearly one-third of American women (31 percent) report being physically or sexually abused by a husband or boyfriend at some point in their lives, according to a 1998 Commonwealth Fund survey.

According to the survey women should feel free to come out and expose these perpetrators who do perpetrations everyday.

HIV Statistics of Women is S.A is shocking

Amnesty International, an international human rights body has urged the South African government to unfold hands concerning the issue of HIV and Aids. They say poor rural women are the victims of HIV in the country because they face sexual abuse and discrimination everyday when comparing to men. The report released earlier on in March stated that women under the age of 25 at risk four times to be infected with the virus than men of the same age, they additional said culture of violence and stigma worsen the problem.

According to the AI report women are everyday increasing their risk of contacting the virus because they are mostly affected by poverty, unemployment and they are being abused within the hands of men. With some 5.5 millions out of 48 millions South Africans believed to be carrying the virus, the shape has changed from gay, white males to poor women living in rural areas striven by poverty and unemployment, said the report. The report outlines that young women were up to four times more likely to be HIV positive than men of their same age 12 years after the country adopted a constitution guaranteed to equal rights to all citizens.
"Rural South African women's lives are scarred by persistent violence in their families, homes and in under-policed, unsafe communities," Michelle Kagari, Deputy Director of AI's Africa Programme, said in a statement. "The co-existence of the epidemics of both HIV and violence against women has raised the costs of violence for South African women and girls -both physically and psychologically," she added.

Happy Birthday Lillian

Happy Birthday Lillian

It is the day that the Lord;
Mighty Heavenly Father;
Brought you to this world;
To do His
And what you are supposed to.

Praise Him for that;
Love and respect Him;
He said to your parents;
She shall be named Lillian;
A beautiful blessed name;
To reflect how blessed and special she is.

It is the day that Lord;
Answered prayers of your parents;
They had spent nine months kneeling down;
Asking God to give them something special;
And God gave them you.

Praise them for that;
Love them and pray for them;
Respect them because they deserve it;
Then you will be happy for the rest of your life;
Happy Birthday.

So proud I stand

So proud I stand

I stand up everyday;
Pronouncing lout who am I;
Telling people where am I from;
Without fear but with self confidence;
I stand before everyone;
Telling them whom I used to be;
Before yesterday and today.

I am proud to stand up;
And fry Masutsa;
Drink home made Amarura beer;
And drink home made Mageu;
I feel proud to tell people;
That I grew up in a poverty striven area;
Where I used to eat Dikodi and Matsankodi.

Even today where I am;
And tomorrow where I will be;
I will never leave my past back;
I will carry them with me where ever I go;
So proud I will always stand;
And pronounce who I am.

We were dancing a Masoboro dance;
Singing songs of Basemanyana;
Eating Mabilo and Mapara;
Drinking Borolo and Manapo;
So proud we stand;
And always we will;
Without any fear of intimidation.

Rural areas should be load shaded

“Rural areas should not be left out when considering the issue of load shedding because it is where electricity is used most, the issue of people saying people in rural areas should be left out because they are not consuming more electricity is not welcomed and it is not true” said Mr. Rampedi of Eskom. Rampedi was speaking to journalists in Polokwane on Monday during a press conference in regard to load shedding in the city. There are lot of sayings around rural areas because they complain that they are affected by the load shedding while they do not consume more electricity.

“We only use electricity for lighting, radio and television, we use fire to cook and boil water” said one of the resident who wanted to be anonymous at Ga-Makanye. “We are all poor here and we do not have these expensive electric appliances that consume electricity, but we are left in darkness everyday, this is not fare” she continued. According to Mr. Rampedi rural area people uses electricity unnecessarily just because they do not have education on how to properly use it. “Most of them have hot plates which are used to cook, boil water and serve as heaters” he continued.

The executive mayor of Polokwane Municipality Mr. Thabo Makunyane encouraged people to save electricity, so that they can achieve 10% targeted saving so that they can be excluded from this phenomenon. He also encouraged media people to assist on helping the government and Eskom to achieve their mission of saving energy to avoid crises. According to Makunyane polokwane municipality is already saved 7% of electricity since the start of the load shedding and he believe within the coming months they can reach the target of 10%.

Well to really show that they are committed to save energy, a press conference was held without any lights.

Mbeki and Mugabe in Pictures

My friend president Mbeki and Mugabe on friday 10 April after having a hour long meeting in Harare. Mugabe told reporters about his friendship with Mbeki.

Picture by Zapiro: President of Zimbabwe Robert mugabe is busy counting votes by his own because he do not trust the Zimbazwean Electoral Commision. Because he is alone he is going to spent the whole month of april counting.

Taking their relationship to a upper level: This was after Mbeki was delegated by SADC to be a mediator between ZANU-PF leader and MDC leaders in Zimbabwe.

Well i still believe Mugabe will lead the country again, because he is counting votes by himself, how can you let yourself loose, while you are counting without viewers.

The Most Dangerous States for Eating Out.

Are you intending to go out of the country, just to get a fresh air, before doing that check the most dangerous states that you have to abstain from eating at their restaurants. The healthinspections.com has done a study on the outcome of diseases outbreaks at some of the states and they found that five of them are most dangerous. South Africa is still safe because the studies are not yet started.
The most dangerous states for eating out are Florida, California, Minnesota, Ohio, and New York according to the most recent federal data. Restaurants in these five states spread bacteria such as E.coli and salmonella, making nearly 3,000 customers sick and putting 65 in the hospital. For restaurants in Florida and California, this is not good news. It's the third straight year they've topped the list for having the most dangerous restaurants. Healthinspections.com analyzed data from the Centers For Disease Control to obtain the rankings. Here's how the states stack up for outbreaks of restaurant food poisoning in 2006, the most recent year available.
1. Florida 74 outbreaks
2. California 69 outbreaks
3. Minnesota 55 outbreaks
4. Ohio 54 outbreaks
5. New York 50 outbreaks

The federal numbers also raise questions about food safety practices in restaurants because more and more people are getting sick from eating out. Across the country, restaurants were responsible for at least 605 outbreaks of food poisoning in 2006, compared to 532 outbreaks in 2005. Healthinspections.com has found that many Florida restaurants – from fast food to fine dining facilities – have long records of serious health code violations.

In all, the restaurant had been cited for 36 violations on two previous inspections including:
-Employees not washing
-Employees not changing dirty gloves
-Using dirty wiping cloths on tables and countertops.
-Slime contaminating the ice machine
-Dirty soft drink nozzles

After the Norovirus outbreak, which couldn't be tied to a particular food item at Coconuts, the restaurant continued to have problems. Coconuts was cited for 10 violations on Valentine's Day, including food at the wrong temperature, a food cooler not working properly, and repeat violations for dirty ice machines and dirty soda nozzles.

Less happy people may be healthy and live long

Are you always happy or extremely happy, experts says less happy of having little worries may be healthy than being extremely happy. According to the society that we live in now people who have everything are regarded as the most happier people, and because they have everything we also regard them as the healthiest people. But according to the study done by psychologists who researched happiness for more than decades those who are less happy are more likely to be healthy that the extremely happy people.

Dr. ED Diener of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign told Reuters Health that people who are less happy may achieve more than those who are extremely happy. He further said that they may also live longer than the extreme happier. "Our findings suggest that extremely high levels of happiness might not be a desirable goal and that there is more to psychological well-being than high levels of happiness," Diener and his team report in the journal Perspectives on Psychological Science.
The researchers looked at six different studies of happiness and life outcomes to investigate the optimum level of happiness. One study, the World Values Survey, which included nearly 120 000 people from 96 countries, found that those who were moderately happy, rating their life satisfaction at 8 or 9 out of 10, made more money than those who rated their satisfaction level at 10. However, 10s and 9s were more likely to have stable intimate relationships.
Health24 note down that another study found that the happiest college students were also the most social, but they had lower grade-point averages than their slightly less happy peers. In four studies that looked at individuals' well-being several years after their happiness level was initially assessed, the happiest people wound up with less education and lower incomes than the moderately happy individuals.

Mbeki is Mugabe’s best friend

President Thabo Mbeki said on weekend to the reporters that the Zimbabwe’s election standoff is not a crisis and its electoral commission must be given time to release the results of a presidential poll held two weeks ago.
I do not believe what President Thabo Mbeki has just said on weekend, how can he say the Zimbabwe’s standoff election is not a crisis? How can people wait for election results for weeks? That is something that worries me about Mbeki, I am not sure how far is too far he is going with his friendship with Mugabe.
After Mbeki held an long meeting with president Mugabe, on his way to Zambia to discuss the crises of elections in Zimbabwe he told reporters that he wouldn’t describe that as a crisis. He said It is a normal electoral process in Zimbabwe. “We have to wait for ZEC to release the results,” Mbeki told reporters after the meeting” he added.
It is not really sure of what they were discussing for that hour long, but I assume the issue of not going to attend a summit in Lusaka came out. That is why Mugabe ended up telling journalists after the meeting that, he is not going to the summit, but is best friend and brother Mbeki is going. “Sometimes you attend and sometimes you have other things holding you back” said Mugabe.
On Thursday the opposition leader in Zimbabwe Tsvangarai met with Mbeki concerning the crime but northing was revealed about their discussion, it is believed they never got any agreement, which is why he further more went to other African continents to look for help.

A council meeting is not a play ground!

A council meeting is not a play ground!

I was really embarrassed and enraged for three days which I have attended Capricorn Polokwane municipality Council Meetings. These meetings are taken as a play ground, when the councilors do not have anything to do at home they just call a special council meeting even if there is northing to discuss, I mean yesterday on Thursday there was a special council meeting at Library Auditorium in Polokwane, guess what happened, a chair women of the meeting laid ground rules and after that a councilor from a Democratic Alliance Movement stood up and pour stinking water on her. He told the poor chair women that she do not have to lay ground rules to them, she better lay ground rules to herself.

The chairperson tried to call the councilor to order, but unfortunately said to him “Put that micro oven down instead of saying put that microphone down”. Another DA councilor stood up and said “Point of Correction, a microphone not a micro-oven”.

I do not wonder why these kinds of meetings are called often; there is a catering of high level which is called every time when having these jokes called council meetings. For my surprise on Thursday some councilor brought their children in with then. I do not think I will ever go to these meetings again, but unless when I am bored, just to go there and laugh. But if there is something serious to attend I do not think I can even try to go there, I do not care whether there is nice well done food or not.
