‘’Where the is a entrance there is an exit’’ Graduations at University of Limpopo 26th to 31st May 2008
Tsakane Mathunsi: Graduated from a Nursing degree at UL Turf loopEvery road has an end, every cave has an entrance and exit, every person is going somewhere and he/she knows when to come back, where there is an entrance there is also an exit. Same thing happened at University of Limpopo from the 26th to 31st of May at Turf loop Campus and Medunsa. More than 6000 students graduated from various qualifications. It was a huge celebration where families of the graduates were gathered outside Great Tiro Hall where the ceremony was held.
In support of a beginner to graduate from secondary school, it is an enormous relive from him/her and his/her parents; it is a huge step to be taken. Life after metric obviously change for good, people may call it achievement. But when one graduate from University or College it is always being regarded as an brainwave or as a drive to all undergraduate students who are still on the way to the same road.
The chancellor of the University of Limpopo Professor Mahlo Mokgalong was there confirming each and every degree issued for the whole week. He encouraged students to excel in their studies so that they can achieve more. A wise man Nevin Fenneman once said the purpose of primary education is the development of your weak characteristics; the purpose of university education, the development of your strong characteristics. This was correctly elaborated at this year graduations at University of Limpopo.
Even if examination was due to begin at both campuses of University of Limpopo, students who are still undergraduate were in large numbers, some to congratulate their friends and families while others were just there to be inspired by the mood o achievement.
