Xenophobic attacks in South Africa spread to the forth province on Friday

"Citizens from other countries on the African continent and beyond are as human as we are and deserve to be treated with respect and dignity, "South Africa is not and will never be an island separate from the rest of the continent," the president of South Africa Thabo Mbeki said on Monday. Since then there was many xenophobic attacks and many people do not fear to say Mbeki do not have power to act against xenophobia in the country.
It is already the third week of sleepless days for foreigners who are living in South Africa, due to unstable behaviors of xenophobia. Yesterday the forth province which is Limpopo was reported to have inherited the xenophobic history of the already adopted provinces. People who were living in the area of Mohlaletse in Sekhukhune regions from Mozambique were attacked on Thursday night where by two of them are being treated at Jane Furze Hospital and others were taken to Apel police station in Ga-nkwana. The area police say few people who were arrested in regard to the matter will be brought to court as soon as possible.
Already 43 people lost their lives and more than 20 000 were evacuated from their shacks or homes since the eruption of this xenophobia in the whole country. People are condemning the behavior even if others are very angry on foreigners. The situation is reported to be very calm by now, but the police are ready to act if any violence can be reported in any part of the country.
